Duffy Road, Briagolong VIC 3860

The mountains of the great dividing ranges extend from Western Victoria 3,500 kms north to Cape York in Queensland's far north.

Seemingly endless blue ridges stretching to infinity, an impenetrable barrier throughout the country's early settlement years separating the coastal settlements from the vast unoccupied interior.

Just 15 minutes north of the quiet little village of Briagolong, 215 acres on two titles of unspoilt freehold wilderness lie secreted away amid these vast mountain ranges.

Timbered ridges and rocky outcrops tower above deep, shaded gullies teeming with wildlife, sustained by rock pools fed by cool mountain streams.

These resilient forests have survived countless bushfires, with the first rains bringing rapid regeneration - a testament to the extraordinary fertility of these ancient soils.

In a modern world where much of the population lives in busy, crowded cities, the quiet allure of the mountains remains stronger than ever.

Hunt, camp or simply escape the frantic pace and noise of urban life.
