About Michael Fratin
“I love the challenge of matching buyers with their ideal property. Selling real estate to me is about building strong relationships – I’m here as a resource for people who want help in their real estate journey.”
Michael joined Elders in 2015, bringing with him experience as a new home sales consultant and a small business owner. He has a wide range of involvement within the business, from property management to sales and in 2019, becoming a director and co-owner with David Jennings. Michael and David own and manage the Ararat Elders Real Estate franchise and expanded in February 2021 with the opening of the Stawell branch.
Michael has sold multi-lot land subdivisions, family homes, units, small acreage lifestyle properties, large-scale farms and commercial properties including the unique sale of the Mountain Grand Guest House and award-winning DULC Cabins in Halls Gap.
The previous development and management of his own business – a winery on the outskirts of Ararat – gives Michael a natural connection to the rural sector and is passionate about the land and facilitating rural property transactions. He believes being connected with the land gives him an edge when matching buyers to the right property.
Michael continually features in Elders National top 100 agents and in 2017, was presented with an Excellence in Marketing award at the Elders Franchise Awards (Vic/Tas). He believes thinking strategically and creatively about marketing properties helps achieve the best results for a client.
Michael’s passion for the region demonstrated through his investment in business, involvement in local sport and his hobby of wine, which is well-served through his own winery and the many others dotted throughout the Grampians. He lives here with his wife and two young children.
