John Hetherington, our dedicated Principal, has been part of the real estate industry since 2003, bringing with him a genuine passion for property and a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for his clients. Having grown up in Darkan and Mt Barker, and with extensive experience in leading livestock agencies, John has deep roots in the local community and a thorough understanding of the region.

Known for his approachable nature and down-to-earth style, John takes the time to truly get to know his clients. His genuine interest in people allows him to understand not only their real estate goals, but also their individual circumstances, ensuring every client feels supported and confident throughout their property journey.

In 2014, John and his wife Julie established a property management business with a simple goal: to provide reliable, high-quality services to clients across Albany and the Great Southern region. As the business grew, they expanded in 2017 to include a dedicated real estate sales division, allowing them to support clients through every stage of their property journey.

In 2023, John and Julie proudly rebranded the business to Raine & Horne Great Southern. Today, they have built a strong local presence throughout the region, with offices in Albany, Denmark, and Kojonup, and a continued commitment to servicing surrounding communities with the same care and professionalism they started with.
