About Chris Weston
Chris Weston, born in Mount Barker and lived in Balhannah. He became a Technical Officer in Telecommunications, after a short period living in Adelaide, plus a stint in National Service, Chris and Sue came back to live at Oakbank in November 1974.
He completed Conveyancer/Land Broker qualifications in 1979, however decided to become a Real Estate Agent—so Chris and Sue Weston opened a one room, one phone line office in Oakbank in March 1980. They are operating from the same premises today at 213a Onkaparinga Valley Road.
Chris is also an accredited Auctioneer, accredited Rural Sales Consultant, accreditation in Business Sales, a proud member of the Real Estate Institute of South Australia and of the Society of Auctioneers and Appraisers.
He was also made Associate of the Real Estate Institute of Australia, in recognition of his services to the Real Estate Industry, including a stint as Board Member of the Real Estate Institute and a panel member for the Real Estate Industry Property Management Division.
In 2014 Chris was recognised with the prestigious ‘Max Raine’ Award, for his hard work in lifting the profile and success of Raine & Horne South Australia. The Max Raine award also honours those individuals who have provided invaluable service to the Raine & Horne network.
