COUNTRY
Very sweet pebbly downs, running up to Gidgee Ridges, numerous soft creek flats. Areas of Red Loam country, mainly timbered with dead finish Leopard wood, Boree and Gidgee. Adalonga mainly grows Mitchell Grass, Button Grass and Buffel along creeks as well summer and winter herbages. There are areas of heavily timbered Gidgee.
IMPROVEMENT & INFRASTRUCTURE
• Over 7.5km of 63mm poly has been laid from Greysteel waterhole to Dunraven dam via Yambla bore to drought proof Dunraven, Greysteel & Yambla paddocks.
• Solar pumps have been put on all 3 bores & Dunraven Dam
• New cattle yards built with scales in crush, calf cradle, pound draft & cattle loading ramp.
• Installed irrigation to trees planted in yards
• Water square at bore & holding square located at the junction
• Large concreted shed with shower located out the back opposite cattle yards.
