Owner’s comments:
Bumbleginny has been our family home for about 20yrs. It’s a comfortable and convenient place to live, entertain family and friends and generally enjoy country living in a very private setting.
Our small grazing enterprise is also rewarding. For the last 5 ½ years we have been following a Grazing Naturally program run by Dick Richardson. This involves rotational grazing methods … hence the reason for many paddocks and 9 paddock troughs. The grazing system with contour banks, has greatly improved the soil, slowed water flow, and enhanced the soils’ ability to hold more water and grow better pastures.
Though this system has been applied to only about 500 acres our carrying capacity has lifted from 50 head (set stocking) to 75 cows with weaners to 6months of age.
The Property has a current PMAV number in place.
