1332 Wyn Wyn Road, Duchembegarra VIC 3409

If you've been searching for an affordable country escape with plenty of character and potential, this former school property could be just what you're looking for! Set in a beautiful, peaceful rural location, surrounded by native bushland and the picturesque Melaleuca forest, this is an opportunity to secure your own little slice of the countryside without breaking the bank.

The property is home to an old school building that has certainly seen better days and is in need of some TLC, but for those with a bit of imagination and a willingness to roll up their sleeves, the possibilities are exciting. The surrounding landscape is filled with magnificent sugar gums, eucalyptus trees and an abundance of native flora, with seasonal displays of blue irises, freesias, grape hyacinths and belladonna lilies adding colour throughout the year.

Nature lovers will feel right at home, with local wildlife including echidnas, possums and an array of native birds. A magnificent bunya pine provides a standout feature and a wonderful natural gathering place, while the quiet country setting offers a level of peace and privacy that's becoming increasingly hard to find.

With very little passing traffic and beautiful natural surroundings, this is the perfect opportunity for someone looking for a weekend getaway, a restoration project or simply an affordable piece of country history.

It's not perfect, and there's work to be done, but that's all part of the opportunity! Properties with this much character and natural beauty at an affordable price don't come along every day.
