CROSSWOOD VINEYARD – HUNTER VALLEY
Located on a popular tourist route among neighbouring vineyards, wineries, guesthouses and restaurants, this amazing twenty-five acre parcel of land is beautifully landscaped and offers some of the Hunter Valley's best views from the Brokenback Range in the West to the Barrington Range in the East. It has a cellar door, wine warehouse and office as well as machinery shedding set among park-like grounds and is just 2 hours (198km) to the CBD of Sydney and 1 hour (67km) to the sandy beaches of Newcastle.
As you arrive at the property you are greeted by tree-lined driveways, tall privacy hedges, a small boutique vineyard and beautiful lake on the way to one of the prettiest cellar doors in the valley with barn doors, Dorma windows and a loft with balcony looking over the grounds and the vineyard. Adjacent to the cellar door is a fully insulated and refrigerated wine warehouse with offices above which have been used by the owners as accommodation. Continuing on, the road winds past a beautiful machinery shed to a stunning building site already complete with Cottonwood-lined driveway.
The property has formed driveways, has the benefit of 24 megalitres of irrigation water from the Hunter River via the Wine Country Private Irrigation District and a boutique vineyard which is approximately 8 acres in size and is composed of Shiraz, Tannat, Fiano and Chardonnay.
