The country on Oklahoma is transitional in nature and difficult to describe accurately. Approximately 97.8 hectares (66%) comprises undulating Poplar Box, Brigalow and Belah country with areas of alluvial plains. The remaining area, approximately 50 hectares (34%), is of plains and low escarpments timbered with Vine Scrub and Brigalow, Belah throughout. Soils range from heavy alluvial plains to lighter undulating Box country.
Majority of the Category X country (approximately 97%) has been pulled, stick raked and burned, with further development of approximately 16 hectares being originally farmed and now been planted to improved pastures (Green Panic, Buffel Grass with native pastures).
