Located in the well regarded East Binnu district, 'North Star' will appeal to investors and grain growers looking to expand.
'North Star' is 47 kilometres north east of Northampton.
The property is currently utilised as a broadacre cropping enterprise, with the entire 2024 programme currently sown to wheat
'North Star' consists of approximately 1100 hectares (2717 acres) of easy working soil types in large, efficient paddocks. Soil types on North Star are a blend of over both gravel and clay, as well as yellow sandplain.
These soil types are well suited to cereal, canola and lupin rotational cropping systems.
3000 tonnes of limesand has been spread on 'North Star' in recent years.
Recent incorporation of this limesand has produced outstanding results, with the potential of further yield increases from continued tillage and incorporation.
Working infrastructure includes a 100 tonne fertiliser shed with lean-to, 2 rainwater storage tanks and four grain silos.
Water security is supplied from three bores, two of which are equipped by windmills. Water depth is approximately 20 metres at the deepest bore.
