About Sylvia Godwin
Sylvia Godwin, a dedicated Rural Specialist with the Jazz Cullen Team at Ray White Yeppoon, brings three years of rural real estate expertise to her role. Sylvia's background is deeply rooted in the agricultural life, having grown up on her family’s ‘Tanderra’ cattle and grain property near Springsure, and now living in Rockhampton.
Growing up, Sylvia balanced home schooling with hands-on work on her family’s property, developing a deep love for the rural lifestyle. Her early mornings and mustering adventures instilled a strong work ethic and a genuine connection to the land.
Her senior education continued at The Rockhampton Grammar School, followed by a Diploma in Agribusiness Management from The University of Queensland. Sylvia's career path included working with Jamie Seccombe Cutting Horses and mustering cattle, near Charters Towers and Greenvale. While working on properties, Sylvia witnessed the dedication and determination of rural sales agents and this experience opened her eyes to rural sales, showing her how real estate could combine her love for the land with her professional ambitions.
Sylvia commenced her journey in the real estate industry in 2021 and has worked in an agribusiness department & as a sales associate giving her valuable insights into marketing and property management. Sylvia enjoys connecting with rural communities and appreciates the rich histories behind the properties she handles. Her unique background and unwavering dedication make her an asset to the Ray White Yeppoon & Jazz Cullen's Team.
