His extensive business background stems from owning and operating his own businesses and grazing properties – including breeding and fattening herd across Queensland.

Before settling in the Atherton Tablelands with his family, Steve spent 20 years in the Gulf of Carpentaria, where he honed his expertise as a cattle buyer, business owner and Councilor for the Carpentaria Shire Council.
