Shania Whitehouse

Shania began her real estate career with Harcourts Burnie in 2014 as a receptionist after gaining valuable experience in the hospitality industry. Even at a young age, her exceptional communication skills and strong work ethic made her a standout team member. Her dedication to client service and eagerness to learn quickly led her through various roles in sales administration and property management.

At just 18 years old, Shania’s hard work was recognised when she won the Office Administrator of the Year award in 2015, standing out among over 20 Harcourts Tasmania offices. She continued to build her expertise, earning her Diploma in Property Services (Agency Management) in early 2018.

With extensive industry knowledge and a strong commitment to excellence, Shania transitioned into Business Development Manager, where she thrived, earning Business Development Manager of the Year for Harcourts Tasmania in 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, and 2023/24.

Now, as a Human Resources Manager, Shania focuses on staff development, recruitment, and training, ensuring team members receive the support and resources needed to succeed. Her leadership fosters a positive workplace culture, helping the team grow and thrive.

Outside of work, Shania enjoys spending time with her partner, Jake, and their beautiful dog, Scout.
