About Matt Benson
Growing up a stone’s throw from the internationally renowned Waite Agricultural Research Institute at Urrbrae was destined to mould almost everything that has happened in Matt Benson’s life.
A lifelong passion for farming and livestock was ignited, and he graduated with a degree in Agricultural Science, majoring in Animal Physiology and Agronomy, from that very same institution at 23.
A decade in the wool industry was followed by a career in sports administration, punctuated with seven years selling rural real estate.
Matt has owned and run sheep and cattle properties in South Australia and Victoria, and is now ‘living the dream’ with his wife Min on a 40-hectare property at Inman Valley on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Having also completed an MBA from the University of SA and most recently gaining formal post-graduate qualifications in his other passion, garden design, Matt has a unique blend of experience and professional prowess that he can share with his clients.
Matt brings to TOOP+TOOP RURAL not only a lifetime of working in and around pastoral activities and an extensive knowledge of rural real estate, but also an intimate understanding of targeted marketing, communication and customer engagement.
