Joe Wilks - Wagga

Joe has been involved in the Wagga Wagga livestock industry all his life and specialises in finding the right marketing solution or purchasing opportunities for his clients.  He grew up on 1,000 acre property on outskirts of Wagga Wagga and started young in the livestock game, from age 6 buying, looking after and selling livestock.  He went to school locally and after 5 years casual work with various agencies around Wagga, Joe started with Elders in 2011 as a Territory Sales Manager.  Whilst at Elders he won both the NSW and National ALPA Young Auctioneers competition. Joe was Livestock Manager at Elders for 2.5 years managing up to 20 staff at times.  In 2017 Joe started Wilks and McKean Livestock & Property with Tim McKean.  Joe understands client needs and can offer solutions that maximise their investment in their rural business and effectively showcases the product they have produced.  Joe is a fantastic auctioneer who is just as good at hosting a Sporties night as he is on the rail at the Wagga Saleyards.
