Cherie Carlson

Born and nurtured on a family property in Mooloo for 55 years, I’ve been cradled by over 300 hectares of diverse terrain that has been home to five generations of my family. It’s this deep-rooted connection to the land that’s shaped my values, work ethic, and undying passion for real estate.

In March 2023, I embarked on a new journey, making a home on my very own 160-acre grazing property in Gunalda. This move not only signified a personal milestone but also deepened my bond with the Gunalda community and landscape.

My Professional Journey

Frank Sauer and Sons (1984-1989): Fresh out of Year 12, I began my professional journey with Frank Sauer and Sons, which was Gympie’s most extensive rural merchandise and produce store at the time. For five years, I honed my administrative skills, working in roles that ranged from Receptionist to Debtors Clerk.

Family Farm, Mooloo (1989-1994): Subsequently, I returned to my roots, playing a dual role at our family farm in Mooloo. Alongside bookkeeping, I immersed myself in hands-on farm work, gaining a profound appreciation for the land and the myriad challenges and joys it brings.

Local Electrical Business (1993-2018): For a quarter of a century, I dedicated myself as the Office Manager of a local electrical business. This role further solidified my managerial skills and commitment to local enterprise.

Real Estate Odyssey (Since 2018): My entry into the real estate industry five years ago felt like a natural progression, given my lifelong connection with land and properties. In the last three years, in collaboration with my business partner, we’ve made close to an impressive $150 million in sales. A testament to our dedication, expertise, and unparalleled knowledge of the region’s real estate dynamics.
