Brendan Williams

Brendan Williams was born in 1969 in Auckland New Zealand and lived the first four years of his life in the Northland Region town of Whangarei
His mother Trish and father Bruce decided at the time to bring their two boys (Brendan and his younger brother Gareth) up in the country.

They bought a block of land in Waikeke, approximately 30 km inland, purchased a timber house in Whangarei and transported it in two halves to the chosen land, and Bruce joined it back together and built front and back veranda’s.

There Brendan spent the next 10 years of his life in rural paradise , roaming the paddocks and forest, catching fresh water crayfish, fishing , shooting , motorcycle riding and all the other great things a young man with loads of freedom can get up to in his spare time.

In approximately 1982, the family, now with two more sons, Regan and Evan, moved into a specially built foster home in Whangarei and looked after two families of foster children until the 5th of December 1985 when they emigrated to Perth Western Australia.

Brendan completed a butcher apprenticeship in 1990, and then moved to country Western Australia and worked as a banana picker, wool presser, tractor driver , tyre fitter and butcher in various locations until 1996, when he moved to Broome.

He worked as a Butcher for a time and then started Roebuck Bay Cleaning, which grew into a thriving business until two thousand and seven, whereupon he sold the business to his friend Steve Brougham and moved to the Atherton Tablelands and became a real estate salesman and auctioneer for First National Atherton.

In 2015, Brendan moved back to Perth to be near his terminally ill Father and worked at First National Patience Joondalup until June 2018.

After the passing of his father Brendan moved back to where his heart was in the Atherton Tablelands where he resides today in Ravenshoe.
