Formerly franchisees, our Richmond and Cloncurry branches made the decision to go out on our own and form Stockplace Marketing and commenced trading 1st June 2016.

Stockplace Marketing is a dynamic and progressive Livestock and Property Marketing primarily based from Richmond, North West Queensland. Luke Westaway, James Coates and Ashley Naclerio are a competent team of professional agents that are committed to specialise in the marketing of both livestock and rural property.
Our business aims to develop long term, business to business relationships.
Luke, Ashley and James are based from the Richmond district - situated 500km west of North Queensland's capital Townsville and hub of Queensland’s live export port. 400km to Mt Isa which is also a large cattle breeding and live export marketing area. Croydon, Georgetown, Mount Surprise and Normanton are located to the north of Richmond were many breeder properties are located offering a strong supply of store cattle and weaners.
Stockplace Marketing services the Cloncurry region, 770 kilometres west of Townsville, 120kms east of Mount Isa and services the surrounding districts of Boulia, Camooweal to Gregory in the Gulf.
Hughenden and Julia Creek are to the East & West and Longreach, Winton and Charters Towers are in within a few hundred kilometres offering access to weekly store sales and live weight selling facilities.

On average, Stockplace Marketing market over 50,000 head of cattle and is involved in marketing a large volume of rural property annually. In 2021, Stockplace Marketing claimed two awards for most throughput on Auctions Plus nationwide. One award was for the best agency throughput in Australia by a margin of 30 per cent, with over 150 AuctionsPlus transactions over the year and the other award was for Most Throughput Individual Agent, achieved by Luke Westaway, Stockplace Marketing.
Cattle marketed from this region supply a variety of markets from feedlots, live export markets, abattoirs, Auctions Plus platform, sale yards and cattle in a paddock to paddock transaction. Rural properties sold in the region are marketed using Auction and private sale tailored to the needs of the vendor.
Stockplace Marketing is a community based business and financially supports a variety of local Community events from Field Days, Campdrafts in Georgetown, Richmond, and Mt Surprise. Horse races at Maxwelton, Kooroorinya & Muttaburra. Rodeos in Georgetown, Forsayth, Hughenden and Mt Surprise. Stockplace Marketing has continue to sponsor the Stockplace Top End Purse, a series of aggregated scores and finals across six Novice Campdraft Rounds.
