The moderate summers (28°c approx) and mild winters (18°c) of Warwick town and surrounds make Warwick a very attractive location to reside.

The exquisite use of sandstone and the extensive construction of the town’s heritage buildings, which was undertaken as the town grew in the 1880s and 1890s has left a large number of buildings which are noted for their graciousness and splendor facade.

Known as the 'Rose and Rodeo City', Warwick hosts one of Australia's oldest and most famous rodeos each year in October. The Warwick Rodeo can trace its roots back to 1857 where records indicate the first professional buckjumping contest. The Rose festival is also held in October.
