The 'Mia Mia Aggregation' is recognised as one of the finest, mixed grazing and farming enterprises in the renowned Purlewaugh Valley only 25km east of Coonabarabran.
A mixture of high yielding soils and 700mm rainfall provides an opportunity to grow a range of crops and pastures, ideally suited to produce numerous agriculture commodities.
The Aggregation covers an area of 3,372.2 ha (8,332 ac)* of which is a mix of mainly black/chocolate heavy self-mulching rich basalt soils and quick responding red and sandy loams.
The property runs from flat to mainly gently sloping and undulating kurrajong country with an area of 2,070 ha (5,115 ac)* of cultivation which has the ability of producing winter cereals and or summer crops plus a large amount of fodder. The remaining grazing country consistently runs significant numbers of livestock year in year out, watered by 3 exceptional bores and reticulation water systems.
A fencing programme has been implemented over the past few years, replacing almost all road boundary fences and many internal fences. Laneways and swinging gates provide ease of livestock movements to the three sets of cattle yards located in accessible places for B-Double access.
