This 5.36 acre (2.17 ha) property is approximately 25 minutes' drive from the Bundaberg CBD, and less than 20 minutes from the popular local fishing haunts of Norval Park, Miara, and Boaga.

The selectively cleared sections of the property had been extensively farmed for many years until 2020. The sandy loam soil lends itself to growing a wide variety of small crops and has successfully produced snow and sugar snap peas, green beans, zucchinis, button squash, tomatoes, cabbages, broccoli, pineapples and bananas which were sold to both local markets and from the roadside stall on the property known as J Js Market Garden. J Js Market Garden had been in the family since 1979. In the first few years the property was a weekender getaway for the family used on school holidays and weekends.

The house on the property was moved from North Bundaberg to its current location by Herbener Brothers in 1983, with the 10 000-gallon concrete tank behind it built on site by Bundaberg Tanks in the same year. The house was originally built in 1951 in North Bundaberg by Petersen Brothers Sawmill being externally clad with hardwood weatherboards and a stucco facade. Internal walls were lined with Masonite and wet areas lined with fibro sheeting. Ceilings throughout the house are made of caneite, a lining with insulating and sound deadening properties which is manufactured from by-product of the sugar industry. The house is in a very poor state and will need major works to restore.

Power is connected to the property and the Telstra landline cable runs past the front boundary. School buses to all state and private schools travel daily past the front door. Water supply consists of 1 x 10 000-gallon tank, 1 x 5 000-gallon tank, two domestic bores and three dams, two of which are seasonal and the main spring-fed dam being a reliable water supply all year round.
