Duckhole and Blueleaf Forestry Portfolio, 0 Lake Leake And Others, Lake Leake TAS 7210

Elders Rural Real Estate is pleased to offer for sale by Expressions of Interest, closing Wednesday, 16 December 2026, the Duckhole and Blueleaf Timber Forestry & Carbon Portfolio, comprising nine established forestry and carbon sites across approximately 4,394 hectares of freehold land throughout Tasmania.

The portfolio provides significant geographic diversification across the Northern Midlands, Central Highlands, Meander Valley, Break O’Day and Launceston municipalities, combining established Pinus radiata and Eucalyptus nitens plantations with substantial areas of retained native forest.

Portfolio Sites
Lake Leake North, Northern Midlands: 2,275.42 ha
Lake Leake South, Northern Midlands: 560.89 ha
Triangle, Central Highlands: 432.29 ha
Fourteen Mile, Central Highlands: 424.58 ha
Liffey Road, Meander Valley: 298.72 ha
Blackwood Creek, Meander Valley: 214.27 ha
Dilgers Hill Part 1, Break O’Day: 78.80 ha
Dilgers Hill Part 2, Break O’Day: 80.35 ha
Targa, Launceston: 28.60 ha

A key feature of the portfolio is its expansive and established carbon position, with approximately 1,588 hectares enrolled across three registered Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) Scheme projects under the Plantation Forestry method. ACCUs have already been issued under two projects, providing an established carbon income stream alongside the portfolio’s commercial forestry value.

The Plantation Forestry method allows eligible commercial harvesting to continue alongside carbon crediting, providing complementary forestry and carbon income opportunities from the same landholding.

The forestry asset comprises established Pinus radiata and Eucalyptus nitens plantations with approximately 471,575 tonnes of projected thinning and clear-fell wood volume. The portfolio’s geographic spread also provides access to established processing facilities and export markets across Tasmania.

The Vendors’ preference is to sell the portfolio in one line, however offers for individual properties or combinations of properties may also be considered.

A comprehensive Information Memorandum and data room containing title information, individual property details, carbon project information, ACCU forecasts and projected timber volumes are available to qualified interested parties.
