Situated approximately 92km West of Longreach in the Vergemont area, Marmboo provides an excellent opportunity due to the solid rainfall it has received in December and again in February for growers seeking a clean open block with the Mitchell Flinders and Buffel grasses responding very well to the rain and also to being destocked.
Area is 38,558 Ha or 95,238 Acres approximately, plus another approximately 5,000 Acres of fully available Stock Route. It is on 6 Freehold titles in the Longreach Regional Council district.
Marmboo has only had two Owners since World War 2 and has supported grazing of both Sheep and Cattle. It consists of mainly undulating open Downs with clay-based soils blending into Pebbly areas and the odd stony ridge section.
