Dampier Downs comprises four contiguous pastoral leases totalling 260,073 hectares (642,654 acres approx.) and runs 12,000-15,000 head of Brahman and cross-bred cattle.
A conservatively run station built for long-term viability, the station is underpinned by reliable underground water security.

• Located in a 520mm average annual rainfall region.
• Centrally located station complex comprising fixed and portable accommodation for owners and staff, operational improvements including workshops, helicopter hangar and machinery & feed sheds.
• In excess of 60 paddocks, including holding paddocks, coolers and laneways designed to minimise mustering expenses and facilitate efficient handling of cattle.
• 16 sets of trucking yards and over 40 solar bores with Farmbot water monitoring on storage tanks. Additional pipelines and troughs minimise distance to water, and numerous seasonal satellite dams further spread grazing pressure and allow for regular wet season spelling, maximising pasture productivity.
• Newly constructed, wide-load double-decker loading ramp at the homestead yards for low stress loading and unloading.
• Well-balanced mix of country types including alluvial plains, seasonal creek systems, floodout country, sandhill and sandstone country, densely timbered areas and rising ground to escarpments and plateaux tops.
• Perennial grasses comprise mostly Ribbon Grass, Plume Sorghum and Neverfail, with the floodout and swamp areas supporting Blue Grasses and various soft Spinifex’s.
• Opportunities for further production upside through an approved Diversification Permit to plant Stylo grass species on the property.
A stunningly scenic property, Dampier Downs features spectacular range country along its southern boundary, hosting permanent and semi permanent springs and native pandanus. The property is also home to some of the world’s most southern located, ancient boab trees.
Dampier Downs Station is being offered on a walk-in, walk-out basis including over 12,000 head of mixed-aged cattle and an extensive inventory of plant and equipment.
