Blackwater (56 km) is the nearest service centre and provides most services. Major services are available at Emerald (115 km) and Rockhampton (225 km). The North Rolleston School Bus service to Rolleston State School picks up 10 km from the homestead. There are Higher Education services at both Blackwater and Emerald.
