Moreton Saleyards 33rd Annual Beef Show & Sale
The 33rd Annual Moreton Beef Show and Sale, presented by Boyd O'Brien Bartholomew and proudly aiding the Royal Flying Doctor Service, returns to Moreton Saleyards on Thursday 15th October 2026. This flagship show and sale features 33 classes spanning grass, grain and feeder cattle, drawing strong entries from vendors across the region competing for show honours before cattle go under the hammer.
Judging gets underway from 6.30am across two rings, with the presentation of trophies at 11.00am ahead of the sale commencing at 1.00pm. Entries are now open and close Thursday 8th October 2026, with no late entries accepted; cattle must be delivered by 2.00pm the day prior and require ear tags and age identification, which are supplied free of charge with the entry form. Restricted weight classes will be weighed prior to judging.
The day also includes trade displays and a BBQ and refreshments for attendees. The sale is supported by a full panel of agents — Dick Boyd, Garth Weatherall, Vince O'Brien, Jack Fogg, Rhys Bodey and Craig Bell — and further details, including the nomination catalogue, are available via Moreton Saleyards.
