CTLX Carcoar Store Sale – 525+ Head Cattle (Steers & Heifers)

The Central Tablelands Livestock Agents Association is inviting further entries for its upcoming CTLX Carcoar Store Sale, to be held Friday 11th September 2026, commencing at 10am at the Central Tablelands Livestock Exchange. The catalogue currently lists more than 525 head of steers, heifers and mixed-sex weaners and yearlings, predominantly Angus, with strong Hereford and Charolais-cross lines also on offer. All steers and heifers will be pre-weighed, with weights displayed and stock sold on a $-per-head basis.

Notable vendor lines include 150 Angus x Angus mixed-sex weaners from Mopoke Cattle Co (Merriwa), 70 Angus mixed-sex weaners carrying Nanena blood from Merrindale Pty Ltd (The Lagoon), and 60 Mount Pleasant-blood weaners from DT & JA Knight (Koorawatha). Further quality drafts come from RN & CM Walkom's "The Waratah" (Blayney), CA Whiley (Cumnock, Dalwhinnie blood), Denholm Pastoral Company (Lucknow, Te-Mania blood), and Yarranoo's "Gunthorpe" (Binda, Bannaby Angus blood). Hereford and Hereford-cross heifers from Allandale Park (Arkell, Llandillo & Rosedale blood) and Charolais-cross yearlings from N McCabe (Portland, Rosedale blood) round out a well-bred tablelands offering, much of it weaned, vaccinated and drenched.
