Weekly Sheep & Lamb Sale 11,900 Head Sheep & Lambs
Five selling agents — Nutrien Ag Solutions, Elders, Nevins, M&M and Nuttall — will yard a combined 11,900 head of sheep and lambs at the Bendigo Livestock Exchange at Huntly on Monday, 31 August 2026. The yarding is made up of 9,250 lambs and 2,650 adult sheep, a solid first-week-of-spring offering with depth across trade, export and restocker categories.
Merino lambs headline the lamb run at 3,200 head, followed by 2,000 crossbred lambs, 1,800 trade sucker lambs, 1,600 store lambs, 400 hoggets and 250 exotic lambs. Nutrien brings the largest draft at 4,600 head, built around 1,500 Merino lambs, 1,000 trade suckers and 1,000 store lambs. Elders follows with 3,000 head including 800 Merino lambs, 600 store lambs and 900 sheep, while Nevins offers 2,550 head led by 500 trade suckers, 500 crossbred lambs and 700 Merino lambs. M&M yards 1,000 head and Nuttall completes the sale with 750 head. The 1,600 store lambs and 3,200 Merino lambs should draw restocker and processor competition alike.
