Elders & Nutrien Strathalbyn Feature Cattle Sale – 500 Head Cattle
The Strathalbyn Feature Cattle Sale returns to Strathalbyn Saleyards on Friday 4 September 2026 at 11:00am, jointly conducted by Elders Strathalbyn and Nutrien Strathalbyn. Around 500 head of cattle will be yarded, split fairly evenly between steers and heifers, drawn from a broad field of vendors across the Fleurieu and surrounding districts.
The steer run is led by strong Angus drafts from Bentridge Farm (25 head, Kingarth Angus blood) and JL Hausler (40 head across two age groups), along with quality lines from Jalacase Pty Ltd, Bremso Pty Ltd (Newlyn Park Angus blood), Arkaba Farm, T Male, BA & LO Aubert and several other vendors offering weaned Angus and Murray Grey steers of varying 2025 drop dates. The heifer offering is similarly anchored by Jalacase Pty Ltd, Bentridge Farm (Kingarth Angus blood) and Damex Pty Ltd (Bull Oak Well blood), with additional consignments including a small parcel of black baldy and mixed-age cows with calves at foot from Hillcott Grove.
