Nutrien Yea Monthly Store Sale – 1,500 Head Cattle

Victorian Livestock & Property, and Alex Scott & Co, held at the Yea Saleyard Complex in North Central Victoria. This month's yarding totals approximately 1,500 head of cattle, catering to a wide cross-section of buyers seeking weaners, grown cattle, and cows-and-calves lines.

The catalogue is dominated by strong Angus and Angus-cross weaner and store lines, with notable vendor drafts including Campsie Glen (80 Angus heifers), Sackville Stud, Mernda (50 Angus mixed sex on Te Mania blood), and Lindsay Park Racing, Creightons Creek (30 Angus and Hereford heifers). Grown cattle sections feature quality lines from Hipwell, Murphy, and Bingham, while the cows-and-calves section offers well-bred Angus pairs from Wattle Park and Robinson, plus joined breeding females from Pepper Hill Trading Co. Breeding is predominantly Angus, with strong representation from Kelly Angus, Banquet, Riddellvue, Connamara, and Barwidgee bloodlines, alongside Poll Hereford and Simmental drafts.
