Weekly Sheep & Lamb Sale – 13,600 Head

Bendigo Livestock Exchange hosts its weekly Monday prime and store sheep & lamb sale on 10 August 2026, with a total yarding of 13,600 head penned across five selling agents: Elders, Nevins, Nutrien, Nuttall, and M&M. The lamb offering totals 8,890 head, made up of 590 trade suckers, 3,740 crossbred lambs, 850 exotic lambs, 2,550 Merino lambs and 800 store lambs, alongside 360 hoggets and 4,710 sheep.

Elders holds the largest draft with 4,950 head across pens 1–173 (drafts ABC–DEF, ramps 1 & 2), followed by Nutrien with 2,750 head (pens 216–311, draft JKL, ramp 4) and M&M with 3,200 head (pens 365–476, drafts PQR–STU, ramps 6 & 7). Nuttall and Nevins round out the yarding with 1,500 head (pens 312–364, draft MNO, ramp 5) and 1,200 head (pens 174–215, draft GHI, ramp 3) respectively.

Bendigo's Monday sale is one of the largest weekly sheep and lamb markets in the country, regularly exceeding one million head annually. Buyers should note the sale start time reverts to 8:30am during daylight saving; for the 10 August 2026 sale, gates open Sunday 2pm through to Monday delivery cut-off.
