Strathalbyn Saleyards Feature Cattle Sale – 800 Head Store Cattle
Elders Strathalbyn and Nutrien Strathalbyn will jointly conduct the Strathalbyn Feature Cattle Sale on Friday 7th August 2026, commencing at 11:00am at the EU Accredited Strathalbyn Saleyards. The catalogue features approximately 800 head of quality store cattle, split across steers and heifers, drawn from a strong line-up of regional vendors including Ball Pastoral, Arkaba Farm, Glenellen Cattle Co, Adelaide Turbo Services, TJ Steed, Stringatta Pastoral, West Creek Partners, Triple B Farming, and many others.
The steer and heifer lines are predominantly Angus, with strong representation of Murray Grey, Hereford, Poll Hereford, Simmental and various crossbred cattle, many sourced from well-known breeding lines such as Monterey, Pathfinder, Stoney Point, Newlyn Park and Sheoak Rise bloodlines. Cattle range from autumn 2025 through to early 2026 drops, with the majority weaned and yard-prepared ahead of sale day, offering buyers a well-presented selection of well-grown store and feeder-type cattle.
