Yea Saleyard Complex Store Cattle Sale
The Yea Store Cattle Sale returns to Yea Saleyard Complex on Friday 7th August 2026, commencing 9:30am, jointly conducted by Nutrien Livestock, Elders, Victorian Livestock & Property and Alex Scott & Staff. The catalogue features a strong yarding of predominantly Angus cattle across weaner, grown and cows-and-calves categories, drawn from vendors throughout the Yea, Alexandra, Lancefield, Pyalong and Murrindindi districts.
The feature line comes from A/C JP Brewer, Greta, offering 200 Angus mixed-sex weaners (Aug/Sept 2025 drop) yard-weaned onto grain-free pellets and sired by stud Absolute Angus bulls out of Te Mania and Landfall blood cows. Other notable weaner drafts include 90 head from KA Hunt (Mollyulah) by Hazeldene, Paringa and Ardrossan blood, 70 head from CP Ryan (Pyalong) by Mollison View Angus blood, and multiple drafts in the 40–60 head range from vendors including S Bugter (Wildwood), Sidonia Park, Murrindindi Enterprise and Rubicon Pastoral. The grown cattle section includes a strong 60-head Angus heifer line from Moroco West Station (Te Mania blood), while the cows-and-calves portion features PTIC and cow-and-calf lots from I & P Sichlau, Hillside Fencing & Spraying, Bundalong Park and GR Farms, Mansfield.
