Forbes Central West Livestock Exchange Store Cattle Sale – 1000 Head Cattle
The Forbes Store Cattle Sale returns to the Forbes Central West Livestock Exchange on Friday 31 July 2026, with 1,000 good quality store cattle drawn for the auction, commencing at 10am. The sale is coordinated across six leading selling agencies — AWN Langlands Hanlon, Elders Limited, Forbes Livestock & Agency, Kevin Miller Whitty Lennon & Co, Nutrien Ag Solutions, and MCC Chudleigh Dobell — alongside V C Reid Smith Livestock, drawing entries from vendors across the Central West including Forbes, Parkes, Condobolin, Nymagee, Grenfell, Manildra, Mandagery and Cargo.
The catalogue is dominated by weaner steers and heifers, predominantly Angus and Angus-cross lines, with notable drafts from Bullen Farms (100 Angus x Angus steers), D & A Rural Holdings (100 mixed-sex Angus calves), and Bleste Pty Ltd (70 Angus, Santa and Hereford-cross weaners). Recognised bloodlines featured throughout the sale include Wrigley Cattle Co, Moogenilla, Rockingham, Kurrajong Angus, Kenny's Creek, Gilmandye, Waroona, Fairview, and Devanah, reflecting well-bred, vendor-bred cattle with strong genetics. A number of lines are yard weaned, drenched and vaccinated, offering buyers reliable, ready-to-go store cattle.
