EVLX Store Sale 2500 Head Cattle
Presenting a fortnightly store cattle sale at the Eastern Victoria Livestock Exchange (EVLX), Leongatha, on Thursday 25th June 2026 commencing at 9AM. The sale catalogue lists 2,500 head of cattle across a broad range of categories, with additional and late entries available via The Herd Online website.
Offering categories include Grown Steers, Grown Heifers, Weaners, Xbred & Dairy, and Cows & Calves/Joined Females. Grown steers are headlined by a large line of 100 Rising 2YO Angus/Mixed Beef steers from R McKormick (Mornington) and 80 Angus Rising 2YO steers from G Hanson (Emerald), with additional lines from Poowong, Krowera (Chester Shorthorns) and Tonimbuk. Grown heifers feature 40 Angus heifers carrying Kunuma & Innesdale blood from PQ, PS & AG Sutton and 36 Angus heifers from Quia Station, both through BBL.
The weaner section is particularly strong, with highlights including 140 Hereford mixed sex weaners from Langley Nominees "South Kolora" (Inverloch), 110 Angus mixed sex weaners of Leawood blood from TM Costor (Newry), 80 Angus mixed sex 9–10 month weaners sired by Millah Murrah bulls from Cremona Park (Caldermeade), and 60 Yard Weaned Angus steers by Innesdale bulls from HD Middleton (Trafalgar). The majority of entries carry Vendor Brand (VB), Grass Fed (GF), Antibiotic Free (ABF), and Never Ever (NE) accreditations. A section of Xbred & Dairy cattle and a line of Speckle/Friesian X heifer and calf units (running back with Angus bull) round out the offering.
