CVLX Ballarat Monthly Store Cattle Sale — 5,000 Head
The Ballarat Stock & Station Agents Association (BSSAA) presents the CVLX Ballarat Monthly Store Cattle Sale on Friday 19th June 2026, commencing at 9:00 AM at the Central Victoria Livestock Exchange in Miners Rest. This is one of Victoria's premier monthly store cattle sales, with 5,000 head drawn across grown steers, weaners, grown heifers, joined females, and cows and calves. Selling agents include TB White & Sons (TBW), Nutrien (NUT), Elders (ELD), HF Richardson (HFR), and Colin Stewart (CS).
The catalogue is dominated by Angus genetics, with standout lines including 200 Angus steers 15–16 months from Lal Lal Mawallok Farm, 300 mixed-sex Angus weaners 6–10 months from Mywurlie Pastoral (Moxidectin treated, sired by Eaglehawk and Mystic Park bulls), 130 mixed-sex Angus weaners from Banongill South, and 75 steers and 75 heifers from Weemalah Angus. Notable bloodlines represented include Franc, Murdeduke, Langi Kal Kal, Paringa, Tiarna, Barwidgee, Pathfinder, Te Mania, and Dollar Angus, among many others. Hereford, Charolais, Murray Grey, and Shorthorn lines also feature.
A 3:00 PM Thursday curfew applies to all cattle consigned to this sale, with buyer PIC registration available from 8:00 AM on sale day. All cattle must have NLIS ear tags fitted and be accompanied by a correctly completed National Vendor Declaration (NVD) form.
