Shepherdson & Boyd Toogoolawah Weaner Sale 2700 Head Cattle
Shepherdson & Boyd, Queensland's largest privately owned livestock agency, presents their premier Toogoolawah Weaner Sale on Friday 19th June 2026 at the EU-accredited Toogoolawah Saleyards in the Brisbane Valley. A total of 2,700 weaners are expected, split across 1,700 steers and 1,000 heifers, offering buyers an exceptional volume of quality backgrounder and feeder cattle in a single yard.
The yarding is dominated by Euro-infused types, with Charolais X making up the largest portion — 1,000 Charolais X steers and 800 Charolais X heifers — alongside Charbray (200 steers, 100 heifers), Santa X, Droughtmaster X, Red Angus X Droughtmaster, Angus X, Simmental X, and Brahman. This broad breed diversity caters to both grass and feedlot buyers across Queensland and beyond.
The Toogoolawah Saleyards feature a licensed clearing dip facility on-site, allowing cattle to be cleared for transport to clean country post-sale — historically a major drawcard for clean-country buyers.
