EVLX Leongatha Store Sale — 2,500 Cattle
South Gippsland Associated Agents — comprising SEJ Livestock & Real Estate, Everitt Seeley & Bennetts (ESB), Phelan Henderson & Co (PHC), and Nutrien Livestock — are conducting this major Store Cattle Sale at EVLX Leongatha (Eastern Victoria Livestock Exchange), Koonwarra, on Thursday 4th June 2026 commencing at 9AM. A total of 2,500 cattle are listed across grown steers, grown heifers, and weaners, drawing vendors from across South and East Gippsland.
Grown steers are headlined by two lines of 50 Angus steers from W & T Standfield and M & M Standfield (Fish Creek), both grass-fed and antibiotic-free at 18 months, alongside 30 Angus & Angus Hereford cross steers from R & J Edwards, East Gippsland bred at 20–22 months. Further grown steer offerings include Hereford steers of Karoonda & Mawarra blood from MM & MB Lee (Bundalaguah) and Angus steers from Levanta Farms P/L of Harris Farms blood. Grown heifers feature a line of 25 Angus heifers also from Levanta Farms P/L, grass-fed and antibiotic-free. Weaner highlights include 135 Angus steers by Te Mania Stud Bulls from AG Landy "Bell Point" (Walkerville), 70 Angus heifers of Battersby blood from Dave Harris Earthmoving (Tarwin Lower), and 110 Angus & Angus cross steers and heifers from McLeod Partnership (Yarram) of Dunoon, Landfall & Ayrevale blood.
