EVLX Leongatha Store Sale 2500 Cattle
South Gippsland Associated Agents — including Elders, Alex Scott & Staff, and Baw Baw Livestock — are presenting a major store cattle sale at the Eastern Victoria Livestock Exchange (EVLX) in Leongatha on Thursday 28th May 2026, commencing at 9AM. A total of 2,500 cattle are listed in this catalogue, with additional and late entries available via The Herd Online website.
The yarding is headlined by a strong offering of grown steers, led by P Halstead's 50 Angus steers from Tarwin Lower, C Jorgenson's 26 Angus steers sired by high IMF Rennylea bulls, and T & A Schleuar's 25 pure Francs-blood Barragunda-bred Angus steers. The grown heifer section features T, C & M Hulls' standout line of 60 Sparta-blood Angus heifers from Leongatha, joined and accredited. In the weaner section, Manna Valley, Torwood leads with 220 head of Te Mania-blood Angus steers and heifers, weaned four months and vaccinated. Breeds represented across the catalogue include Angus and Hereford, with numerous lines carrying grass-fed (GF), antibiotic-free (ABF), and Never Ever (NE) accreditations.
