Annual Spring Drop Weaner and Store Cattle Sale 1200 Head Cattle
The Kyneton Livestock Agents Association's Annual Spring Drop Weaner and Store Cattle Sale will be held at the Kyneton Saleyards on Wednesday 27th May 2026, commencing at 11:00am. The sale is jointly conducted by Elders and Nutrien Ag Solutions, with a yarding of 1,200 head of spring drop weaners and store cattle drawn from across the central Victorian region.
The Elders offering is headlined by a strong lineup of Angus and Poll Hereford mixed-sex weaners and steers, with notable vendor lines including Rush Bros (80 head, Glendan Park blood, Greenhams NE Accredited), Maylands Angus (50 head, Banquet blood, Greenhams NE Accredited), Treggarron (50 head Angus mixed-sex, 18 months, Barwidgee blood), and Ravenswood Rural (40 head, Glendan Park blood, Greenhams NE Accredited). Bloodlines represented include Glendan Park, Barwidgee, Banquet, Adameluca, Te Mania, Langi Kal Kal, and Landfall. Nutrien's consignment includes weaner steers and heifers from vendors such as Karoonda Pastoral, K Doggett, A & E Cooper, and AW Thompson, with a further 100 mixed-sex weaners from various vendors. The majority of cattle are grass-fed and antibiotic-free, with many carrying Greenhams Never Ever accreditation.
