Bairnsdale Store Cattle Sale - 474 Head
The Bairnsdale Store Cattle Sale on Friday 22nd May 2026 is conducted jointly by Nutrien Ag Solutions (East Gippsland Livestock), Bill Wyndham & Co, and Elders Bairnsdale at the East Gippsland Livestock Exchange, 11 Saleyard Road, Bairnsdale. Approximately 474 head are catalogued across a strong selection of weaner and yearling steers, heifers, and mixed-sex cattle drawn from vendors across East Gippsland including Benambra, Bruthen, Bairnsdale, Timbarra, and surrounding districts.
The Nutrien draft is headlined by RW Moon's 120 Hereford weaners (70 steers and 50 heifers, 7–8 months), all Greenhams Never Ever Accredited, Antibiotic Free, and Grassfed. Supporting lines include T&A Murphy's 15 weaned Angus heifers (Greenhams NE Accredited), R&V Cornall's 25 Leawood-blood Angus steers, and Newmarket's Hazeldean-blood Angus mixed sex. The Bill Wyndham draft features Rosevale Pastoral's 60 Landfall-bloodline Angus & Black Baldy steers (8–10 months, Never Ever Accredited), Glendoone's 60 Angus x Shorthorn mixed sex, and a range of well-bred Hereford and Angus lines from Benambra and district vendors.
