Strathalbyn Feature Cattle Sale – 1,000 Head Cattle
Nutrien Strathalbyn and Elders Strathalbyn co-present the Strathalbyn Feature Cattle Sale on Friday 1st May 2026, commencing at 11:00am at the Strathalbyn Saleyards, with catering provided by the Strathalbyn Lions Club. Approximately 1,000 cattle are catalogued, comprising steers and heifers across a broad range of breeds and ages, with the majority sourced from the Fleurieu Peninsula and surrounding South Australian regions. The next sale in the series is scheduled for 12th June 2026. Agents are encouraged to contact buyers for an updated listing closer to sale day.
Steer highlights include 91 Angus, Hereford and Murray Grey steers (Feb/Mar 2025 drop, weaned July 2025) from Clayton Pastoral; 41 Angus/Poll Hereford cross steers (May/Jun 2025 drop, weaned Feb 2026) from Middlegrove Props; and 30 Angus steers (Stoney Point blood, Aug/Sep 2025 drop) from West Creek. EU Accredited lines include 15 Angus steers from P & C Mignanelli (Mar/Apr 2025 drop, weaned) and 15 Sim/Shorthorn steers from Nalpa Pastoral (Jun–Aug 2025 drop, weaned Mar 2026). Speckle Park steers are offered by LJ & DM Doube (18 head, May 2025 drop) and Griguol Noms. The heifer section features 51 Angus, 24 Murray Grey, and 12 Red Angus heifers from Clayton Pastoral; 30 Angus heifers (Stoney Point blood) from West Creek; 21 Hereford heifers and 15 Angus/Simmental cross heifers from Saint Family; and EU Accredited lines from Nalpa Pastoral.
