Shepherdson & Boyd presents the annual Toogoolawah Weaner Show & Sale on Friday 15th May 2026, commencing at 9:00am with presentations from 8:00am at the EU Accredited Toogoolawah Saleyards. An outstanding 5,200 weaners are expected — 3,200 steers and 2,000 heifers — described as a top quality yarding, a sale not to be missed, with the majority pre-inspected clean. This is one of Queensland's most prestigious annual weaner events and is recognised as Australia's largest offering of high-performing Charolais-infused weaners, drawing feedlot, backgrounder and restocker buyers from Queensland, NSW and Victoria. The Toogoolawah Saleyards are EU Accredited and feature a licensed clearing dip facility on site to clear cattle for transport to tick-free areas.
The sale is conducted by Shepherdson & Boyd, the largest privately owned livestock agency in the Brisbane Valley, established in 1967. The yarding is predominantly Euro-infused, with Charolais, Charbray, Droughtmaster-cross, Simmental, Santa Gertrudis, and Angus-cross lines typically represented.
