Victorian Livestock & Property Coolongolook Herd Dispersal

Victorian Livestock & Property presents the Coolongolook Herd Dispersal, offered through the AuctionsPlus Eastern States Cattle Sale on 17th April 2026. This genuine dispersal features 150 PTIC Red Angus Composite breeders located in Limestone, Victoria, representing an outstanding opportunity to secure high-quality, performance-driven genetics.

The offering includes 28 first-calving heifers, 44 second-calving cows, 25 third-calving cows, 25 fourth-calving cows, and 28 mixed-aged cows. All females are joined for a tight six-week spring calving to Hicks Red Angus, Karn Station Red Composite, and related bloodlines. Developed since 2009 by Judy Brookes and Duncan Hall, the Coolongolook herd has been built on proven genetics including Chan Abbey, Paringa, Hicks, and Milwillah.

Renowned for their quiet temperament and productivity, the herd has achieved notable success in Red Angus Society On-Farm Challenges, including Supreme Champion honours. The dispersal is being conducted as the operation transitions from a self-replacing breeding herd to a backgrounding and trading enterprise. Inspections and bidding will be conducted online via AuctionsPlus.
