CTLX Carcoar Blue Ribbon Weaner Sale – Day 4 – 7,000 Head Cattle

The Central Tablelands Livestock Exchange (CTLX) at Carcoar hosts Day 4 of its prestigious Blue Ribbon Weaner Sale on Friday 17th April 2026, commencing at 10:00am. The sale is organised by the Central Tablelands Livestock Agents Association Inc, with entries managed across 12 member agencies including Elders, Nutrien Bathurst, AWN Orange, Bowyer & Livermore, Allan Gray & Co, JJ Dresser & Co, Kevin Miller Whitty Lennon & Co, PR Masters Stephens & Co, Clements & McCarthy, Elders Emms Mooney, Tablelands Rural Agency, and Duncombe & Co. A total of 7,000 head are catalogued, comprising pre-weighed steers and heifers with weights displayed and stock sold on a per-head basis.
The yarding features a strong representation of Angus and Angus-cross weaners, predominantly August/September 2025 drop, with standout lines including 400 Angus weaners from M & S Hadley, "Traleigh", Rydal (Karoo and Myanga blood); 250 Angus and Angus Shorthorn Cross from Macada Rural (Millah Murrah and Futurity Shorthorn blood); 200 mixed sex EU Accredited weaners from SG & EC Cook, Blayney; and 120 Angus weaners from NC Kable, Rydal (Rennylea blood). Vendor health programs are comprehensive, with most lines carrying 5in1 or 7in1 vaccinations, Bovisheild MH-One, Rhinoguard, and pour-on drenches. Euro-cross genetics feature in the Ryanvale line (Angus x Charolais), while Murray Grey crosses are offered by BJ, JE & NJ Cummins.
