Colac Stock Agents Association Store Cattle Sale – 400 Head Cattle
The Colac Stock Agents Association will hold its monthly Store Cattle Sale on Friday 10th April 2026 at the Colac Regional Saleyards, commencing at 10:00 AM. A total of 400 head are catalogued, comprising 180 steers, 120 heifers, and cows and calves. As is customary at this sale, cows and calves and joined females will be sold first at the commencement of the sale. The Colac Regional Saleyards is an undercover, soft-flooring facility, and Colac Associated Agents actively promote grass-fed and antibiotic-free production. All cattle must be received by 4:00 PM on Thursday 9th April.
The catalogue features a diverse mix of grown steers, weaner steers, grown heifers, weaner heifers, crossbred lines, and cows with calves. Notable entries include A/C Cimel P/L with 20 Angus cows and calves of Murdeduke bloodlines, A/C A, J & A Zappelli with 15 Angus grown steers of Daffy blood, A/C GN & SA Ferrari with 15 Angus weaner steers and 10 weaner heifers of Otway Angus blood, and A/C Pungarehu Farms with a varied crossbred offering including Speckle/Friesian, Angus/Friesian, and Hereford/Friesian steers and heifers. River Recede also offers Hereford heifers and cows and calves of their own breeding. The sale is conducted by the four Colac Associated Agents: Charles Stewart Howard Livestock, Charles Stewart & Co Livestock, Nutrien Livestock, and HF Richardson Livestock & Property.
