The Bairnsdale Store Cattle Sale on Friday, 10th April 2026 is jointly conducted by three leading East Gippsland agencies — Nutrien Ag Solutions (East Gippsland Livestock), Elders Bairnsdale, and Bill Wyndham & Co — at the East Gippsland Livestock Exchange. The sale commences at 9:00am and features a quality line-up of store cattle drawn from across the Gippsland region.
Nutrien is offering 74 head including 50 Angus mixed sex (Pure Leawood Blood, 10–12 months, Greenhams Never Ever Accredited) from MW & MJ Higgins, 16 Angus steers (18 months, weaned, antibiotic free, grassfed) from Ron Harvey, and 8 Angus steers (Pinora Blood, 16 months, weaned, antibiotic free, grassfed) from FL Harvey. Elders presents a strong catalogue of 210 head including 45 Maine-Anjou steers (12 months) from Woodfield Property Holdings, 80 Red Angus mixed sex (12 months, Never Ever Accredited) from Mitchell Valley Produce, 55 Angus mixed sex (10 months, Never Ever Accredited) from M & J Betts, and 30 Black Baldy mixed sex from R & J Geddes. Bill Wyndham & Co rounds out the offering with 40 head including Karoonda-blood, Greenhams-accredited Hereford steers and heifers (14–16 months) from Omeo Pastoral, 15 Hereford, Angus and Black Baldy mixed sex from Prince & Gannon of Nicholson, and 10 Angus mixed sex from Mick Cadman of Lakes Entrance.
The yarding spans a strong mix of Angus, Hereford, Black Baldy, Maine-Anjou and Red Angus breeds, with numerous lines carrying Greenhams Never Ever accreditation, antibiotic-free, and grassfed credentials — making this an attractive sale for restockers and backgrounders across Gippsland and beyond.
