Yea Store Sale

The Yea Monthly Store Cattle Sale for Friday, 10th April 2026 is a combined agents sale conducted by four leading agencies — Nutrien Yea, Elders Yea, Victorian Livestock & Property (VLP), and Alex Scott & Co — at the Yea Saleyard Complex. The sale commences at 9:30am with a yarding of 2,800 head. Vendors are reminded that the curfew for arriving stock is 4:00pm on the Thursday prior.
The catalogue is dominated by an outstanding offering of weaners, led by headline lines including 200 Angus mixed sex from C Jenkins of Woori Yallock (vendor-bred, weaned, grassfed, Never Ever Accredited), 120 Angus mixed sex Kelly Angus blood from Upton Pastoral of Yering, and 100 pure Banquet blood Angus steers and 20 heifers (12–13 months) from Eagleglen Pastoral, Kinglake. Other notable weaner consignments include 100 Angus heifers from Habbies Howe (Aug/Sept drop), 100 Angus mixed sex Bowman Angus blood from G & H Cock's 'Yarrawyah' at Lilydale, 80 Connamara blood Angus mixed sex from T Montalto's Mimosa Glen, and 55 Angus mixed sex Barwidgee blood from Kerrie Valley Beef & Hay. Multiple lines carry Greenhams Never Ever accreditation, antibiotic-free status, and grassfed credentials.
The grown cattle section features strong lines including 65 Angus steers (24–25 months, Yea district bred) from Brooklyn Manor, Bylands, 40 Angus heifers (Banquet & Kelly Angus blood, grassfed, antibiotic free) from Hayfaz Property, 35 Angus steers (Landfall blood, 16 months) from Contract Racing of Newham, and 30 Angus mixed sex (Millah Murrah & Tamaroo blood) from Cremona Park, Molesworth. A cows and calves section includes 90 PTIC Angus heifers from Sims Farming's 'Pinegrove' (Merridale & Phoenix Park blood, first calvers commencing calving May, vet certificate to accompany) and 20 PTIC Angus cows from Air Wire Highlands (commencing calving Aug/Sept).
